Estate planning is something every adult needs, regardless of how much they own.
Estate planning simply means creating legal documents naming people you trust to take care of things if you aren’t able to and specifying what you want to happen with your property after your death. You get to make your own choices, instead of having a judge decide. And with the right guide — someone who listens and explains things clearly — estate planning can even be enjoyable.
I’m Rachel Murphy, estate-planning attorney and founder of Willena. (That’s me on the left.) I offer collaborative estate planning with flat-fee pricing designed to serve clients with a total net worth under about $4 million.
Get Started
A Will lets you choose who will care for your children, handle your affairs, and receive your property after your death, so Idaho law doesn’t make those decisions for you.
A Trust allows your property to pass directly to your loved ones without the time, cost, or court involvement of probate, while giving you control over how and when they receive their inheritances.
Powers of Attorney let the people you trust manage your finances and make medical decisions if you become unable to do so yourself.
After you schedule an estate planning meeting, you’ll complete an online questionnaire, which helps me understand your personal circumstances before we meet.
We’ll meet for about an hour in person or over Zoom. I’ll walk you through your options and help you choose the right plan for your goals and budget.
I’ll personally prepare your documents. Then I’ll send you drafts to review ahead of your signing meeting, answer lingering questions, and make any adjustments you need.
We’ll meet in person for you to sign your documents. You’ll leave with a complete estate plan and clear instructions for maintaining it. Then I’ll be here whenever life changes require updates.
Estate planning isn’t about filling in forms. It’s about making decisions that truly reflect your wishes. At Willena, you’ll work directly with an experienced attorney who takes time to understand your goals and explain every step in plain English. I’ll guide you through complex choices with clarity and empathy.
Estate planning can seem intimidating, but it doesn’t have to be. My clients often say they’re surprised by how easy and even enjoyable the process feels once we start. I combine a modern, organized approach with real conversation and even some humor. You’ll leave feeling accomplished, not overwhelmed.
I’ve deliberately set my prices at the lower end of the market to make estate planning more accessible. My flat-fee pricing menu lets you see exactly what each service costs before you decide. You stay in control of your planning decisions and your budget from start to finish.
